The Garden Hotel is located at the top of the High Street in the centre of Bangor, making it only minutes by foot from the shops and university departments.

By train: From the railway station, the hotel is only a minute's walk away – simply turn right at the station exit, head down the hill about thirty yards, then look for our reception on the left. (From the station, the name of the hotel is visible on our side wall »)

By car: simply follow the "Town Centre" directions which will bring you past the front door of the hotel. One-way traffic flow here means you need to look for the entrance to our car park on the right, opposite the Lidl supermarket.

If using satellite navigation in your car, then use LL57 1DQ Ffordd Yr Orsaf/High Street, Bangor, Wales.

From A55 (Chester)

At junction 11, exit toward Bangor/Betws-y-coed/A5.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Llandegai Road / A5 heading to Bangor city centre.
Follow the main road towards Bangor Railway Station.
Enter the one way system on Farrar Road.
Bear right (passing Lidl supermarket on the left).
Take a sharp turn right before the traffic lights (opposite Domino's Pizza).
The car park is located at the end of the road.
Look for the hotel's entrance sign.

From Anglesey

Cross the Menai Bridge and head south-east on the A5.
After crossing the bridge, turn left on the roundabout to stay on the A5.
Pass the Bangor University Normal Site (on the left).
Continue following the main road, passing Morrison's supermarket (on the left), then passing Bangor railway station (on the right). (The hotel is only 3 minutes' walk from here; it is situated next to the Gwynedd Body Shop / Garden Oriental Food Store).
Bear right entering the one-way system on Farrar Road / A4087.
Turn right again (passing Lidl supermarket on the left).
Take a sharp turn right before the traffic lights (opposite Domino's Pizza).
The car park is located at the end of the road.
Look for the hotel's entrance sign.

From Caernarfon

Head east along Caernarfon Road / A4087 (hint: go through 4 roundabouts before reaching destination).
Follow Caernarfon Road, passing:
1. Tesco 24-hr supermarket (on right)
2. ESSO petrol station (on right side)
3. McDonalds Restaurant (on left side)
4. PC World (on left side).
